Lots of unfilled weights here, but I’m ecstatic about it! From last year where we had maybe seven girls in the entire state look at what we have now! HUGE shout out to Saltillo, who has a FULL girls line up! That’s absolutely insane, first year competing and a full line up. I want to apologize to the ladies for how long it took to get girls rankings up. I just had so little data that I couldn’t find enough to give ya'll as great a product as I wanted. Ladies, I also want to say that in some of these more slim weight classes there is a good chance I'm missing a few wrestlers. I know of a 132 girl and 235 girl that just haven’t wrestled the entire season so they aren’t going to be in these rankings. You ladies are awesome and have been getting after it just as much as the guys! I love hearing about it and watching you compete. Some of you ladies are absolute hammers (looking at you Annika Mortenson and Keleigh Kinkade) and we also have a couple returning state champs coming back to defend their title. Keep grinding in the room, keep working to get better, keep pulling your friends to the wrestling room, and let’s continue to grow this awesome sport for boy and girls in the state of Mississippi. #sipwrestling
